Hi all,

I apologize in advance for the spam-like message. I'm a robotics
researcher and I've recently put together a small web site that
collects breaking news stories about robots, robotics research, etc. I
hope you find it to be a useful and interesting resource.

cheers,
R

Interesting. Hope you keep up your energy to make your dream come true. Keep
posting a reminder here from time to time. You might want to invite members
to post pictures of their projects along with a short story about them.

Wayne, Why is it interesting? Just another Google ad site with
syndicated news feeds to provide "content."

The kid is learning to walk... a bit of encouragement might help him on his
way to success. He's researching and sharing his research. But you are quite
right.

Encourage research yes. Encourage passing off an ad site as "robotics
research," no. He's pulling news articles either through a syndication
feed, or finding them with the same five second Google search we can all
do. The site is basically Google AdSense ads.

I have nothing against people setting up commercial sites, BTW, as long
as everyone knows that's what it is.
