Which colors do you prefer in your lego creations? Is color important
when you buy sets? Has it happened that you've not bought an otherwise
cool set, 'cause you've disliked the colors? Is there colors you like
to see more of?
I like the greys and the "earth" colors (tan, brown and copper green)
'cause they look much more natural than the old primary colors. Black
is useful, but suffers from low visibility. Models build mainly of
black tends to look just like a lumpy shadow, it's hard to see the
details.
I'd like to see more of olive, martian red and light blue. Right now
it seems like they use way too much plain red (possibly due to the
Ferrari sets), I can't understand why they used red instead of olive
or brown in the 4892 ("Prehistoric Power") set.
BTW, is it just me that thinks that the difference between
sun-yellowed and not-sun-yellowed grey parts is much more prominent
than the difference between "old" and "new" grey? Or have I just left
my parts in the sun for too long?
